Data policy

Where the ad data comes from

Everything we show about ads comes from the Meta Ad Library, the public transparency database Meta publishes under the EU Digital Services Act. That includes ad IDs, page names and IDs, ad text, display URLs, start and stop dates, and the EU reach figure.

We do not store ad creatives, apart from a thumbnail. Each ad links to Meta's own Ad Library page so you can check every number yourself.

What we calculate ourselves

• Reach gained in the last 7 days, from the reach figures we store once a day.
• Whether an ad meets the four criteria: active, reach threshold, age, Funnelish.
• Which pages advertise to the same landing domain (a store).

We do not estimate spend, revenue or sales, and we do not compute scores or predictions.

How the Funnelish check works

For each landing domain we run a DNS lookup. A domain qualifies when it is a *.myfunnelish.com subdomain, when its CNAME chain points to domains.funnelish.com, or when its A records match those of domains.funnelish.com at the time of the check. When DNS is not conclusive we load the page once, like a normal browser, and look for Funnelish assets or a checkout link that points to Funnelish.

Each result is stored with the method used, shown next to the badge, and re-checked weekly. We never fetch a site more than once a week.

About advertisers

We hold no personal data about advertisers beyond what the Ad Library shows publicly, such as page names. We hold no data about the people who see or click ads.

About you

• Your email address and login.
• Your settings: countries, thresholds, digest time and channels, webhook URLs.
• Your watchlist, alert rules and the digests we sent you.
• Your subscription status. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store card details.

You can export all of it as a JSON file, or delete your account, from Settings at any time. Deleting your account removes this data and cancels any subscription.

Processors

Supabase (database and login), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments) and Resend (digest emails). Secrets and keys are kept in the hosting providers' encrypted environment settings.
